TO BENEFIT SOCIETY THROUGH CHARITABLE PROGRAMMES
What We Do
Buddha's Light International Association and Nan Hua Temple aim to help local residents in poor areas and caring for the children of the country. There are a number of donation projects every year, such as Winter relief, Hot lunches at schools (feeding scheme), computer donations, wheelchair donations and many more.
Wheelchair Donations

Wheelchair donation began in 1998, the donation ran
continuously year after year, including wheelchairs to hospitals, homes for the disabled, schools for the disabled, nursing homes, hospice wards, AIDS patients and even individual families in need.
The region covered fifteen countries including South
Africa, Swaziland, Lesotho, Congo, Malawi, and Tanzania. Transcending differences in race, ethnicity, religion and region, it truly embodies "Great kindness without predestination, Great compassion for everybody as one".
To date, more than 15,000 wheelchairs have been donated, benefiting countless people.
Continuously Endeavour
Buddha's Light Association International and Nanhua Temple will continue to uphold the spirit of
"Great kindness without predestination,
Great compassion for everybody as one"
to serve the people of Africa, so as to achieve everyone's family happiness and social harmony.
How to Apply
Two types of application:
Organisations application
Individual applicants
subject to returning by ordinary mail (not email or fax)
or delivering by hand to us the completed and signed ORIGINALS of the listed documents and subject to our approval of your application.
